The son of a World War II Veteran who met and married his wife while stationed in Sydney, Australia, Mark Dambly understands the impact the military — and the transition to civilian life — can have on families and their careers. He’s committed to helping returning Veterans not only find jobs, but build wealth through entrepreneurship.
Mark has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. As President of Pennrose, Mark provides strategic and day-to-day leadership for nearly 400 employees located in more than 10 states and the District of Columbia. Under his leadership, Pennrose has developed four affordable housing properties for Veterans, and completed more than 265 developments totaling over 17,000 units and encompassing nearly $4 billion in total development costs.
Mark approaches business with a balanced perspective of social necessity and market opportunity. He has proven financial capability, a record of accomplishment of successful properties planned and built on schedule, and a strong commitment to providing families and seniors with affordable, multifamily and market-rate housing.
In 2015, Mark was honored by Pennsylvania Housing Finance Association (PHFA) with the Pioneer Award in recognition of the positive difference to expand affordable housing in Pennsylvania.
Mark is the President of the Pennrose Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization that further enhances the company’s mission of transforming communities. He is Chairman of the Pennsylvania State University Board of Trustees and is on the Boards of Directors for Penn State Health, the Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County, Regional Housing Legal Services, and Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania.
