Army Veteran Eric DeFrancisco has led teams to consistently achieve mission objectives and financial results both in and out of the military. Today, he’s harnessing those experiences to accelerate economic opportunities for transitioning Veterans and their families.
Eric served six years on active duty with numerous deployments and a final assignment as an Infantry Company Commander in the 10th Mountain Division.
In 1995 he transitioned to the private sector as an entry-level leader in a large Arby’s Restaurant franchise. Over the next 14 years he worked his way to Director of Operations, earning equity stake and operational control of 44 restaurants in the Southeast. In 2009, Eric moved to 7-Eleven where he held numerous leadership positions of increased responsibility. He most recently served as Vice President of Operations, leading the efforts of a multi-disciplined team with accountability of $1.3 billion in revenue.
Eric is intimately familiar with the military lifestyle and has a deep respect for the resilience of Veteran families. His father was a career Army Officer, and Eric grew up living in military housing and attending Department of Defense schools while moving nearly every three years.
Eric graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned his MBA at Texas A&M. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife Kristin, and is the proud father of three adult children.
