Bill Yoh was raised with respect for the military. His family’s century-old business, Day & Zimmermann, is a Top 100 Defense Contractor and proudly supports our troops defending freedom around the world. He is a third generation owner and executive of the 43,000-employee government and commercial solutions company. He has also worked in the management consulting industry and assists multiple start-up ventures.
Bill is passionate about helping transitioning members of the military find meaningful work to lead dignified lives and provide for their loved ones. His unique background in staffing, defense contracting, marketing communications, sales, and corporate governance give him authority to support Veterans seeking jobs and business ownership opportunities.
Bill serves as the chairman of the board of The Haverford School, one of the largest independent schools in the United States, and sits on the advisory boards of Select Greater Philadelphia and Quake Media. He previously chaired the American Staffing Association, which supports the $150 billion US staffing industry, as well as served on the boards of Defense Support Services, LLC and Council for Relationships.
Bill is an award-winning author who speaks and writes regularly about leadership, relationships, and family business. He wrote and published Our Way, a Gold Award-recipient biography on his father and his family. He also writes business and literary articles and reflections, and produced an award-winning feature film about human relationships. Bill holds a BA from Duke and an MBA from Wharton, where he classes on family business.
